Viale dei Campionissimi - 15067 Novi Ligure (Al)

Inaugurated in 2003, the Museo dei Campionisssimi (Champions of Champions Museum) is the biggest musem of cycling in Europe. It is an act of love, a passionate homage paid to cycling champions such as Costante Girardengo, who was born in Novi and there started his extraordinary sports career; or to Fausto Coppi, who was given honorary citizenship of Novi. The Museum is for a mixed public, from competitive cycling enthusiasts to amateur cyclists, or for those who simply like to get on their bikes to enjoy the beauties of the countryside. It was set up inside a 3000 square metre ex-warehouse, and allows visitors to approach the world of cycling in its totality. It is a very high-tech exhibition, supported by multimedia and virtual technology, large screens showing the most exciting moments in the history of cycle racing, as well as many suggestions for cycle routes, which aim at promoting the countryside of the area.
