The itinerary starts with a visit to Sant’Antonio di Ranverso in the town of Buttigliera Alta. We continue on from here along highway 25 towards Moncenisio until we reach the town of Avigliana. By continuing along highway 589, we follow the coast of Grande Lake and Piccolo Lake. Returning to highway 25, we arrive in the built-up area of S. Ambrogio where, by going back up the Croce Hill, we reach the Sacra di San Michele.
We take up highway 25 again and continue on to highway 24, towards the town of Chianocco where, by leaving the car, we can emerge ourselves in the natural beauty of the Chianocco Ravine Reserve (those wishing to also visit the Foresto Ravine should continue along highway 24 and the Foresto Ravine is reached only a few kilometres down the road).
The next to the last visit is to the town of Susa that is reached by driving down highway 24. After visiting Susa’s artistic monuments, we turn right into the Cenischia Valley and go on until we reach the town of Novalesa. We reach the Novalesa Abbey, briefly after having gone through the town.
